The Department of Mathematics, NIT Silchar had the privilege of hosting Prof. Pradipta Bandyopadhyay, Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata, who delivered an engaging and insightful lecture during the celebration of the International Day of Mathematics (IDM) 2026 and the 7th Research Scholars’ Day. The department sincerely thanks Prof. Bandyopadhyay for his gracious presence and for contributing significantly to the academic success of the event.
